CASCIA S. RITA NORCIA FALLS MARMORE
This tour is designed for those who like the Umbria region and the green valleys of the Sibillini Mountains, and the excellent black truffle DOC.
Our driver will pick you up at 7:30AM from your hotel in Rome, our first stop is the town of Cascia, where we will visit the Church of Santa Rita of Cascia Augustinian nun known as the holy of impossible cases who lived in 1400, where you can see her body preserved in a glass urn and where pilgrims from all over the world come to this sacred place to pray to the saint to intervene for them.
We will visit the house where she was born Santa Rita which is just a few minutes from Cascia in Roccaporena and here we stop for lunch in Norcia, where you can taste the famous and fragrant black truffles and fine meats.
After lunch you will have the opportunity to see the Basilica of St. Benedict founder of the Benedictine and our journey continues to visit the stunning Niagara Falls, the artificial origin have been built by the Romans to drain the waters of the marshes of Black River Velino.
We will end your day here and return you back to your hotel in Rome.
