ORVIETO
A few kilometers from Rome out of the caos of Rome we find two beautiful towns Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio in the countryside of Lazio and of Umbria.
This delightful one-day tour Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio is ideal for those who want to spend a quiet day relaxing.
The tour starts at 8:00 am, from your hotel in Rome or from Civitavecchia port our private driver will take you, and the tour ends at 5: 00pm.
After about two hours we arrive in Orvieto a wonderful medieval town perched on top of a hill, you will visit the magnificent and famous cathedral of Orvieto built in the fourteenth century by Pope Urban IV, the construction began in 1920 and lasted 300 years his style is Romanesque Gothic.
After the visit to the Cathedral should visit the Pozzo di San Patrizio ancient military fortress, there are 248 steps to get to the end of the pit where you can throw a coin.
